Without Boundaries - Movement and Migration in the Global Era
In this course we will learn about the migration of people, capital, and ideas. We will analyze the meaning of physical and mental boundaries and examine whether in the post-Corona reality social networks and the Internet have opened up possibilities of movement even without physical movement. In the course we will discuss various issues, such as: the map of migration interests; the place of organizations in the reality of migration; the meaning of boundaries in the reality of migration; how inequality in migration is treated; is there a migrant culture and how does migration affect economic and health aspects and is affected by these aspects in turn.
Students will work in organizations that work with migrants from different groups (immigrants / migrant workers / asylum seekers) for approximately 30 hours during the semester and will delve into one of the issues presented.
