Short Course Description

The course deals with the implementation of organizational strategy by using tools that lead to operational excellence. Operational excellence focuses on planning, measurement and process management, both in manufacturing systems and service organizations. The operational perspective and operational thinking are crucial for an organization that is seeking a constant improvement in a competitive and complex environment. The course covers important tools from the field of operations management as means for enhancing the organization's value and for achieving a competitive advantage.
