Short Course Description
An introductory course of theory in organizational behavior focused at the macro level. The course will discuss the basic concepts and models of organizations and management, including internal and external organizational processes. Key topics: a review of classical and modern management theories, organizational goals and strategy, organizational design, organizational effectiveness and efficiency, organizational structures, the external environment, organizational culture, and organizational lifecycle and decline. Course materials will be taught in diversified ways, including discussions, surveys, movies, case studies, etc.
