Short Course Description

Minor prostitution is a phenomenon that has existed since the dawn of history and has unique characteristics that distinguish it from the general prostitution population. There are different approaches to the treatment of minor prostitution and in the course we will learn about the different approaches and focus on the institutional approaches to the treatment of minor prostitution, and we will delve into Lacan's pluralistic clinic approach, while providing practical tools for treatment and a thorough understanding of the intervention methods.
We will learn the meaning of clinical intake and referral for treatment, we will understand the various gender and age differences in the prostitution population and their effect on treatment, as well as the meaning of the rescue fantasy that is integrated into the treatment of this population.
The course will provide therapeutic tools for managing treatment, while providing an extensive understanding of the contents of prostitution, through the unique transference between the therapist and the patient, how parental care can be combined and what success is in the treatment of prostitution.
