Short Course Description

Severe and ongoing traumas are part lot of many womenw`s life in society, as well as a great part of women who are treated by welfare services and various social services.

Complex post-traumatic stress disorder is a diagnosis that allows for a deep and meaningful understanding of the variety of symptoms, behaviors, and tendencies of men / women who have experienced recurrent, persistent, and chronic trauma, which most often occurred at a critical developmental stage in childhood. The consequences of these traumas are severe, chronic and stubborn in their impact on the psyche.

In the course we will understand the processes of changing the various diagnoses as created over the years and as reflecting the attitude towards trauma and vulnerability. We will learn about the various components of the diagnosis and refine the importance of tailored treatment.

We will delve into various non-women-adapted interventions that deal with complex traum
