Short Course Description

Although people negotiate all the time, most know very little about the strategy and psychology of effective negotiations. In this course we will understand the theories, frameworks, and processes of negotiation as it is practiced in the global setting, which adds significant complexity to the negotiation process. We will integrate theory and practice with a strong applied focus as we consider the various ways in which negotiations and dispute management are informed by scientific knowledge. Every Class students will prep, negotiate, and then debrief in order to truly experience the concepts while challenging themselves in a safe and supportive environment.
