The three epigraphs for this course reflect the challenging and contradictive role of crises in life of mankind, countries and individuals.
?risis can be defined as a situation or event that has reached a critical phase in its development (evolution), characterized by the following features (one or more):
(a) Instability and danger - a time of great difficulty, danger, or troubles that threatens to result in undesirable consequences. It is a condition of instability or danger in social, economic, political, or international affairs.
(b) Decisive changes - decisive or crucial events that will lead to a significant change for better or worse; it is a turning point in the evolution of an object analyzed.
(c) Urgent need for actions and resolution - crisis requires a quick solution or response, as the situation has become critical and cannot be left unaddressed.
Crises are an indispensable phenomenon in the history of mankind and individual countries.
Crisis is a pivotal, unstable, and often dangerous situation that demands urgent attention and a decisive response to avoid highly undesirable outcomes. It represents a critical juncture that can lead to significant changes.
