Short Course Description
This course will provide introduction to applied statistical analysis from basic descriptive representation of data and plots to research oriented statistical inference. The focus of this course will be on ecological, environmental and sustainability case studies that will offer hands-on experience in statistical tools and analysis of related scientific papers' methodology. Another aspect that will be covered is introduction to predictive models (machine learning and data science approaches) and their role in research in the data driven era.
