Short Course Description

This is an internship course. It is held in conjunction with TAU's Career Development Center to enhance your professional skills and help you successfully utilize your command of English and/or knowledge of American society and culture in the international job market. Students will intern for 100 hours during the year in relevant places arranged through TAU. It will give you the opportunity to use your communication abilities, analytic skills, and knowledge acquired during your degree. Internships will be held in a variety of international English-speaking workplaces like media outlets, tech-firms, public sector, consulates and public diplomacy, and NGOs.
There will be 5 in-class/zoom meetings. At the end of the year, all participants will present a summary of their internship and submit a short paper that highlights the internship and its relation to the various courses taken throughout their BA in the Department of English Literature and American Studies.
