Short Course Description

On this course we will study about the Women's Status in Judaism and Islam according to the following subjects:
-Poligamy
-Marriage that is not accodring to the Jewish law -Marriage agreements(ketubah and divorce)
-Jewish and Islamic divorce
-Divorcement intatied by the woman
-influence of the Islam on mizrachi judaism
-Isha katlanit(woman who has become a widow twice)
-Chazal approach towards marriage and nazirite
-Levirate and sororate marriage
-Violence against women
-Discrimination of women
