Short Course Description

This course is an introduction to VLSI design with focus on CMOS process and digital design.
It provides an overview of VLSI design techniques and tools used by the chip design industry.
Topics covered in this course - layout, interconnect, optimizing the performance in combinational networks, timing issues in digital circuits, designing arithmetic building blocks, power and speed trade-offs in datapath structures and memories.
