Short Course Description

Neuroethology: Neural mechanisms in animal behavior

The course presents models of various animals, from simple invertebrates to vertebrates, in the study of neural mechanisms behind animal behavior. Using the various examples, topics in neurobiology are discussed, from the sensory system through the motor system to advanced aspects such as memory, learning and consciousness.

The course is in English
The course includes a presentation and a written seminar
