Short Course Description

The course will provide a comprehensive survey of the field of animal behavior and will focus on the following topics:

Emotions, empathy, attachment and group affiliation, social behavior and its mechanisms, foraging behavior, predation avoidance behavior, competition, habitat selection, reproductive behavior, stress & decision making, animal communication, behavioral changes along development, motivation, learning & decision making, hormones & behavior, and neural mechanisms of behavior.
