Short Course Description

Clear, logically sound and interesting writing is an important skill which is crucial not only for academic studies, but for every successful career.
This course will provide students with the required tools for understanding the fundamental components of academic writing.
We will specifically pay attention to:
? The logics and successful construction of arguments
? A clear and informative phrasing
? Empirical and theoretical grounding
? A coherent, consistent, and fluent structure of the complete academic essay

The course will be conducted as a workshop, in which the students would be required to write several assignments, applying their newly acquired skills. The final assignment of the course would require integrating those skills in a complete short essay.
