Short Course Description

The course will describe the processing stages that RNA molecules undergoes from transcription, through splicing, editing and regulation. The lecturers will discuss gene structure and evolution, complexity of pre-mRNA splicing, various types of RNA editing, and regulation of expression by small non-coding microRNAs.
